Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

It's cold here in Arlington Virginia. A bright cold beginning to the new year.

Rolf and I went to Puck and Memae's for dinner on New Year's Eve. We took Bailey along who got to play a bit with Honey, Puck's mom's dog; but mostly she just crashed by the fireside. Oh, I have a picture. Aren't they cute???

Rolf and I both had to work on New Year's Eve, but we made it to their house in Petworth, DC by 7 for a nice dinner of meatloaf and the best macaroni and cheese ever. There was lots of wine and laughs. Puck had gotten a PlayStation II for Christmas, with the Rock Star video game that you play with little electric guitars. Puck's Mom, and Memae's sister were there too. We all played Rock Star for almost two hours. It was so much fun!

Then we played Catch Phrase - the music edition, but we don't know those songs! Songs like *I Like Big Butts* for example. Oh boy, trying to get Mom P. to guess *I Like Big Butts* by using charades and dance moves had her rolling on the floor in hysterical laughter.

Then at midnight - and who would think this is a good idea for downtown DC - we took pots and pans out to the front porch and banged them and screamed "Happy New Year" to the whole neighborhood. I was afraid we'd get shot. But it was still a hoot!

All the best to you.

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you both!
New years eve started out bad, at least for me, we spent the entire day at a car dealer buying a new jeep...something I absolutely hate but, will admit it's going to be fun. We did about the same thing as you did new years eve, we went to a pot luck and played various DVD games like, "Scene It". I'm so bad at naming movies, lines, scenes, actors, directors...But they love me to be on their teams because I know the obscure things from movies like Sunset Blvd, Breakfast at Tiffany's, The King and I, anything that is...or has turned into a musical. They all think I'm weird...except the 15 year old gay nephew, who is now my new best friend, and team mate...lol.
The best of everything to you for the new Year!!!

PS...I love your blog, I'm in awe of actors/singers and what they do, so I find your thoughts on the subject fascinating. Especially when you're going through the process of rehearsal and what it takes to get to opening night, It's all very interesting to me... but, memories and therapy is what most blogs are all about. It's helped your relationship (that's the best part) and you had fun.
